LANSING, MI – To mark its 15-year anniversary, Edge recently donated $20,000 to Child and Family Charities’ Be the Light campaign.
This campaign raises funds to create a comprehensive services campus and expand Child and Family Charities (CFC) programs to reach more families, children and teens locally and throughout Michigan.
“To celebrate our 15-year anniversary milestone, EDGE is focusing on giving back to those who have supported us throughout our journey,” said Lorri Rishar, EDGE CEO. “Child and Family Charities organization is near and dear to our hearts. We are incredibly fortunate to give to this critical campaign and help provide a glimmer of hope to Michigan families in need.”
Throughout the years, EDGE has worked hand-in-hand with CFC on strategic marketing, public relations and branding. The partnership between the two organizations has spanned the past decade.
“We are incredibly grateful for EDGE’s unwavering support and dedication to help the needs of our ever-evolving community,” said Julie Thomasma, CFC CEO. “Together, we will shine a light and help brighten the path for all who need it.”
Founded in 1911, CFC serves over 15,000 individuals of all ages and needs. CFC walks alongside them every step of the way until they can reach stability and regain hope. Through its six divisions and 28+ programs, the nonprofit organization works in partnership with organizations and supporters who serve as the guiding light for those in need throughout Michigan.
